Building Wellness Together
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with Rebecca, the Nutrition Health Coach at Natural Grocers. We met recently to map out how this challenge can be even more powerful for you! Together, we’ll be encouraging all participants to sign up for free nutrition coaching sessions with her — available right at the store. Rebecca is just as pumped as we are and has a few goodies in store to support your journey!

💡 Standing Strong as Nonprofit Leaders
The Executive Directors of Color network has been going strong. Recently, we joined the BRIC Fund Grantees Reality Check-In to discuss the state of the nonprofit sector, its impact on our communities, and how we can proactively weather this challenging time.

After being in space with other leaders, I am confident that we are stronger together than apart — and that our communities can still thrive. Mahogany Mothers Circle is a proud BRIC Fund grantee, and we know firsthand the difference this support has made for us as well as for other grantees.

🏛 Honoring Shared History in Aurora
As a commissioner with the Aurora Historic Preservation Commission, I recently had the honor of attending the Korean War Memorial groundbreaking. It was a moment of deep reflection for me, as my grandfather and great-grandfathers all served in the Korean War. None of them spoke much about their experiences — their stories lived quietly in the hats they wore and the lives they built afterward.

Now, Aurora soil will hold this history in remembrance. The memorial will serve as a place of honor — recognizing not only the sacrifices of veterans but also the resilience that allowed survivors to rebuild and new generations of immigrants to find hope here.

It reminded me that shared history binds us together. Even in times of war, new beginnings can take root. It was truly a lovely day, filled with remembrance and promise.

💝 Support Mahogany Mothers Circle
We want to give you a heads up that our fiscal sponsor is onboarding us to a new fundraising platform powered by FundRazr. This will allow us to share our story in fresh ways and make giving even easier for our community.

Very soon, we’ll be launching three fundraising campaigns to close out the year strong. Stay tuned for more details!

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for all of our donors, partners, raving fans, and of course the families we serve. Your generosity and encouragement keep Mahogany Mothers Circle going — and together, we’re building a legacy of support and wellness for our community.
