Final Reminder: May 10th Reflections on Birth Event Almost at Capacity

Reflections on Birth — May 10th
We’re nearly full for our Reflections on Birth event happening this Friday, May 10th! If you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the time to reserve your space—we’d love to reach full capacity and gather in a sacred community. This event is specially held for Black birthers who are 3 months to 1 year postpartum, and we have a powerful line-up of facilitators ready to hold space, share wisdom, and affirm your journey.
We’re also excited to be partnering with Trap Catering to nourish us with food made with flavor and love. Big gratitude to Baby & You at CDPHE for collaborating and supporting this vision.

Sacred Seeds Birthworker Retreat — A Replenishing Experience
We just returned from the Sacred Seeds Birthworker Collective Retreat, and it was absolutely fabulous. There’s something powerful about being in community with other birth workers who deeply understand the calling and the care this work demands. The conversations, rest, and sisterhood were deeply nourishing. We’re grateful for the continued support of Soul 2 Soul Sisters, whose love and alignment amplify the heart of our mission. Please share the Sacred Seeds Birthworker Directory here!

Birth Center of Denver — A Full-Circle Moment
I also had the honor of attending the Birth Center of Denver’s Open House for birth professionals. The experience was beautiful and deeply personal—I birthed my daughter there, so being in that space again felt like coming home. I connected with several amazing professionals who we’re excited to bring into our growing network. The Birth Center truly feels like family, and I look forward to deepening our relationship.

Dixon Focused Health Initiative Simulation Series
I was recently invited to the Dixon Focused Health Initiative Simulation Series, a powerful community and provider partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado. It was hosted at the Center for Advancing Professional Excellence (CAPE) on the Anschutz Medical Campus; a space built for transformative learning and collaboration.
I served as the Education Co-Chair when this initiative first launched, so witnessing how far it has come was truly moving. The simulations continue to raise the bar in culturally responsive care and show what's possible when community voices are centered in healthcare education and innovation.
Thank you for being part of this growing circle of love, leadership, and liberation. Whether you’re a parent, birth worker, or community advocate, your presence matters deeply. Together, we are reclaiming our stories, reshaping systems, and raising generations in power and in peace.
With gratitude and continued care,
